Location: Chandigarh/ Field-Based area covering Chandigarh, Panchkula, Baddi, Mohali, Ambala, Kala Amb, Yamuna Nagar

Travel Requirement: Extensive daily travel to customer sites

About the Role

We are looking for a technically sound and field-oriented Service Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and maintenance of industrial machinery, compressors, pneumatic systems, pneumatic tools, and VMC/HMC machines.

The candidate will be responsible for attending customer service calls, troubleshooting equipment, carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance, installation work, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend daily service calls and visit customer sites for breakdown and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot industrial compressors, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control-related issues.
- Carry out pneumatic line installation, including piping, tubing, fittings, FRL units, valves, regulators, and related components.
- Troubleshoot and service pneumatic circuits and systems used in industrial applications.
- Service, repair, and troubleshoot pneumatic tools such as impact wrenches, grinders, drills, screwdrivers, and other air-operated tools.
- Carry out servicing and troubleshooting of VMC/HMC machines, including pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical/control-related issues.
- Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various industrial machinery and equipment.
- Identify the root cause of equipment failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions.




- Conduct preventive maintenance and provide customers with recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance reports, and customer visit reports after completing jobs.
- Coordinate with the sales and technical team for spare parts, replacement components, and additional service requirements.
- Maintain proper records of equipment serviced, parts replaced, and pending issues.
- Ensure safe working practices while working at customer premises.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and understand their technical requirements.

Required Technical Skills

The candidate should have practical hands-on experience in:

- Industrial air compressors
- Pneumatic systems and pneumatic circuit troubleshooting
- Pneumatic line/pipeline installation
- FRL units, valves, regulators, cylinders, actuators and fittings
- Pneumatic tools servicing and troubleshooting
- VMC/HMC machine servicing and maintenance
- Industrial machinery breakdown maintenance
- Preventive maintenance
- Basic electrical and control-panel troubleshooting
- Mechanical troubleshooting
- Reading basic pneumatic and mechanical drawings
- Use of basic measuring and maintenance tools

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant field-service experience.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Mechatronics, Production Engineering,



or a related technical field.
- Strong practical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Must be comfortable working at different industrial customer locations.
- Ready to travel every day for customer visits.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites.
- Must have a valid driving licence and be comfortable using a two-wheeler for daily travel.
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours whenever an urgent breakdown/service requirement arises.
