Role & responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of cold box core shooter machines.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of machine & core boxes
- Train and guide operators on machine & tooling handling, safety protocols, and process improvements.
- Monitor core quality (dimensions, strength, curing) and adjust process parameters as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with pattern shop, HPML and quality teams to optimize processes and reduce defects.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical, Production Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in foundry operations, preferably in cold box core shop
- Solid technical knowledge of core-making processes and equipment’s.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve machine issues.
- Leadership skills with experience supervising teams in industrial settings.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
