Contract Zoho Developer – CRM, Creator & Deluge

We are looking for an experienced individual Zoho Developer to work with us directly on a contract/project basis.

This is an individual freelancer requirement. We are NOT looking for Zoho consulting companies, agencies, or implementation partners.

What we need

We use Zoho to manage our business processes and are looking for someone who can help us build, modify, troubleshoot and improve our existing Zoho setup.

The most important requirement is strong practical knowledge of Deluge. We need someone who can understand existing Deluge code, troubleshoot problems, and develop reliable custom functions—not someone who only knows basic Zoho configuration.

- Zoho Books / Zoho Inventory experience is an advantage
- Experience integrating Zoho with external applications/APIs is an advantage

Type of work The work will include both new development and troubleshooting of our existing Zoho system.

Examples include

- Creating and modifying CRM modules and fields
- Building lead and customer workflows
- Creating quotation/pricing workflows
- Automating follow-ups
- Recording customer responses and rejection reasons
- Creating custom calculations using Deluge
- Building reports and dashboards
- Connecting different Zoho applications
- Debugging existing Deluge functions




- Improving existing automations
- Creating API integrations
- Helping us determine when to use standard Zoho functionality versus Deluge/custom development

What we are looking for We are looking for someone who:
- Understands why something should be implemented a particular way, not just how to write the code
- Can look at an existing Zoho setup and understand the business logic
- Can troubleshoot and debug existing Deluge code
- Writes clean and maintainable Deluge
- Can explain technical solutions in simple language
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Is comfortable working directly with the business owner/team
- Is interested in a long-term working relationship, rather than just completing one project

We are specifically looking for an individual freelancer/developer who will work directly with us.

We are also not looking for someone who simply configures Zoho using standard features. Strong Deluge development and debugging skills are key.

If the initial work is successful, we expect to continue with additional Zoho development work on a project or monthly contract basis.
