Role Description The Yoga Therapist will be responsible for providing on-site, client-focused yoga therapy sessions at HAIR RAP BY YOYO in Ahmedabad. This full-time role includes conducting individual and small-group sessions, assessing clients’ physical and emotional needs, and designing personalized yoga programs that complement the salon’s holistic approach to well-being.

Day-to-day tasks include guiding clients through asanas, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness practices, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

The Yoga

Therapist will collaborate with salon staff to enhance the overall client experience, maintain session records, and contribute to wellness initiatives, workshops, and client education.



The role also involves scheduling sessions, maintaining a clean practice space, and upholding professional standards of conduct and care.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of yoga therapy principles, including asanas, pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques, with the ability to adapt practices to individual needs.
- Experience in client assessment, personalized program design, and monitoring client progress in a wellness or therapeutic setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, explain techniques clearly, and provide empathetic support to diverse clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a salon environment, aligning yoga therapy sessions with holistic hairdressing and overall client experience.
- Formal training or certification in Yoga Therapy or Yoga Instruction from a recognized institution; additional training in wellness, mindfulness, or holistic health is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and high standards of safety and hygiene in a shared studio/salon space.
- Comfort working full time on-site in Ahmedabad, with flexibility in scheduling to meet client demand, including weekends or extended hours as needed.
- Prior experience in a spa, salon, wellness center, or holistic therapy environment is preferred but not mandatory.
