Role: Senior Workday Finance - Consultant

- Configure Workday Financial Management modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Business Assets based on approved design documents.
- Familiarity with integration management and supporting middleware or cloud-based integration tools.
- Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize effectively, and deliver within deadlines.
- Participate in requirements workshops and document functional configuration decisions and business process designs.
- Support integration between Workday Finance and HCM modules, particularly where Talent & Performance, Learning, or Time & Absence data flows into financial processes.
- Develop and execute unit and integration test scripts; document test results and manage defect tracking.
- Assist with data migration validation, including chart of accounts, supplier/customer data, and opening balances.
- Prepare and deliver end-user training materials and support go-live readiness activities.




- Provide post-go-live support and resolve configuration defects during hyper care.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and internal practice development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Overall 7years, 5+ years of Workday Financials configuration experience
- Practical experience with Workday GL, AP, or AR module configuration.
- Exposure to at least one of the following modules: Talent & Performance, Learning, or Time & Absence.
- Understanding of core accounting and financial reporting concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with both technical and finance audiences.

NICE TO HAVE Workday certifications in Financials (active or willing to pursue upon joining).

Experience with Workday Expenses or Projects (PSA) modules.

Familiarity with Workday financial reporting and custom report creation.

Prior experience in a finance analyst or accounting role.
