Job Summary

We are looking for a Workday Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Workday Core HCM, along with exposure to Absence Management and Time Tracking. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the end-to-end Recruit-to-Retire (R2R) lifecycle and will be responsible for supporting Workday configuration, enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and business requirements. The role requires someone who can work closely with HR and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support Workday Core HCM modules and business processes.
- Work on Absence Management and Time Tracking configuration and support.




- Understand and support the complete Recruit-to-Retire lifecycle, including:
- Recruiting and onboarding
- Core HCM
- Job/position management
- Compensation
- Absence and Time Tracking
- Employee movement and lifecycle events
- Termination/offboarding

- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday functional solutions.
- Configure business processes, condition rules, validations, security, and notifications as required.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis and solutions.
- Support Workday releases, enhancements, testing, and regression testing.
- Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and process documentation.
- Work with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to deliver Workday enhancements and projects.
- Support integrations by working with technical/integration teams to resolve functional issues.
- Provide production support and ensure timely resolution of Workday incidents.

Required Skills

- 4–6 years of experience in Workday functional consulting/support.
- Strong hands-on experience in Workday Core HCM.
- Good experience with Workday Absence Management and Time Tracking.
- Strong understanding of Hire-to-Retire / Recruit-to-Retire HR processes.
- Experience with Workday business process configuration and troubleshooting.
- Valuable understanding of Workday security concepts and functional configuration.
- Experience in testing, UAT, regression testing, and Workday releases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

- Workday certification in Core HCM / Absence / Time Tracking.
- Experience supporting Workday implementations or enhancement projects.
- Exposure to Workday integrations and reporting.
- Experience working with global HR processes and multiple geographies
