About The Role

Thinkbar is looking for a skilled WordPress / Shopify Developer with hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and Shopify stores. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building high-performing, responsive, and user-friendly websites while ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a proactive individual capable of translating business requirements into functional and visually appealing digital solutions.

The developer will work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure websites that meet client expectations and industry standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess 1–2 years of experience in WordPress and/or Shopify development, demonstrating a solid understanding of website architecture and best practices. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Shopify Liquid is essential, along with experience in theme and plugin customization. Familiarity with WooCommerce, Shopify Apps, and integrating third-party APIs is required.

A strong grasp of responsive design principles, SEO best practices, and website optimization techniques is necessary to ensure the delivery of fast, secure, and SEO-friendly websites. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also critical for success in this role.

- Build responsive, SEO-friendly, and high-performing websites that provide excellent user experiences across devices.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify themes/apps based on specific business requirements and design specifications.
- Integrate payment gateways, third-party APIs, and marketing tools to enhance website functionality and user engagement.
- Troubleshoot website issues, optimize website speed, security, and overall performance to ensure reliability and user satisfaction.
- Perform regular website updates, maintenance, and backups to ensure security and functionality.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver cohesive and high-quality solutions.
- Develop custom WooCommerce themes and Shopify themes to meet unique business needs.
- Utilize PHP for custom theme and plugin development, ensuring clean, efficient, and scalable code.
