Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Branch Sales Manager to drive the branch business for Housing Loans and Loan Against Property (LAP) products.

The candidate will be responsible for achieving branch sales and disbursement targets, developing new sourcing channels, managing the sales team, and building strong relationships with DSAs, connectors, builders, brokers and direct customers.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Housing Loans and LAP, preferably from a Bank, NBFC or Housing Finance Company.

- Key ResponsibilitiesDrive monthly and annual Housing Loan and LAP business targets for the branch.
- Lead, manage, motivate and monitor the performance of the branch sales team.
- Generate business through DSAs, DSTs, connectors, builders, brokers, referrals and direct sourcing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners and continuously add new sourcing partners.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the branch's customer and channel base.
- Ensure quality lead generation, login, sanction and disbursement.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation → login → documentation → credit coordination → sanction → disbursement.
- Coordinate closely with Credit, Operations, Legal, Technical and Collections teams to ensure smooth processing and minimum TAT.
- Ensure quality sourcing in line with company credit policies and risk parameters.
- Track daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and prepare MIS and business forecasts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer requirements and pricing.




- Handle customer and channel-partner escalations effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and ethical sales practices.
- Drive branch productivity and achieve revenue, login, sanction and disbursement targets.
- Mandatory RequirementsMandatory experience in Housing Loans / Home Loans and LAP.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in retail lending / secured lending.
- Prior experience in Branch Sales / Branch Management / Team Handling preferred.
- Strong experience in handling DSA, DST, connector and broker channels.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and disbursement targets.
- Good understanding of the complete mortgage lending process.
- Knowledge of basic credit assessment, customer income assessment, banking transactions and property-related documentation.
- Strong local market knowledge of Chennai.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned branch/market.
- Educational QualificationGraduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing or Business Management will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates currently working with Banks, NBFCs or Housing Finance Companies in Housing Loans, Home Loans, LAP, Mortgage Finance or other secured lending products will be preferred.
- Candidates with a robust DSA/Connector network in Chennai and a consistent track record of achieving business targets will have an advantage.

Compensation

CTC: Up to ₹10 LPA, depending on relevant experience and current compensation.
