Job Details

Location: Bangalore

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech / Diploma (Mechanical Engineering)

Experience: 3–8 Years

(Structural Steel Fabrication / Heavy Engineering / Industrial Fabrication)

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate structural steel fabrication activities as per approved drawings.
- Read and interpret GA, fabrication and shop drawings.
- Plan and monitor cutting, fit-up, welding, assembly, grinding and finishing activities.
- Coordinate with Production, QC/QA, Planning and Site teams.
- Ensure fabrication work is completed as per project specifications, drawings and quality standards.
- Monitor manpower, material utilization and production schedules.
- Inspect dimensions, alignment, welding preparation and overall fabrication quality.
- Handle fabrication-related technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production and inspection records,



daily reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and workplace standards.
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Structural Steel Fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Welding, cutting, fit-up & assembly
- Dimensional inspection and quality control
- Production planning and manpower management
- Valuable coordination and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of MS/SS structural fabrication will be an advantage
