- Deliver theory and practical training as per the approved curriculum and Qualification Pack (QP).
- Train candidates in basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, welding and general maintenance skills, as applicable to the assigned course.
- Demonstrate secure and correct use of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments and equipment.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, hands-on exercises and workplace simulations.
- Explain preventive maintenance, fault identification, troubleshooting and repair procedures.
- Ensure effective classroom management and active participation of trainees.
- Conduct regular assessments, practical tests and mock assessments.
- Maintain daily attendance, session plans, training records and assessment documentation.
- Monitor trainee performance and provide individual guidance wherever required.
- Ensure compliance with training-centre SOPs, safety standards and project guidelines.
- Maintain training equipment,
tools and workshop/lab facilities in coordination with the Training Centre.
- Support mobilization, counselling, placement activities and post-training follow-up, when required.
- Coordinate with the Centre Head, Project Manager and assessment agencies for smooth implementation of the training programme.
- Ensure all training activities and documentation are completed within the prescribed timelines.
- Technical SkillsKnowledge of basic electrical and electronic systems.
- Basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Plumbing and sanitary maintenance.
- Carpentry and fabrication basics.
- Knowledge of welding and workshop practices.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
