Octaga Green Power & Sugar Co. Ltd. is a growing Indian alcohol manufacturing and consumer brands company, with operations across manufacturing, beverages, hospitality and emerging consumer businesses.

We are looking for a Web Developer & Web Designer who can independently manage, develop and improve our websites and digital presence across the company's businesses and brands.

This is a hands-on role combining web development, web design, WordPress/CMS management, basic SEO, analytics and digital support.

Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Development

- Develop, maintain and update responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Work with WordPress and other CMS platforms.
- Develop and maintain websites for the company and its brands.
- Create and update landing pages, campaign pages, product pages and microsites.
- Integrate APIs, plugins, forms, payment/booking tools and third-party services where required.
- Troubleshoot website errors, bugs, broken links and technical issues.
- Ensure websites are responsive and work properly across desktop, mobile and major browsers.
- Maintain website performance, security, backups and basic technical hygiene.
- Coordinate with hosting/domain providers when required.

Web Design & UI/UX
- Design clean, modern and user-friendly websites aligned with Octaga's brand identity.
- Create website layouts, landing pages, banners, pop-ups, buttons and other web elements.
- Improve existing website design, navigation and user experience.
- Convert design concepts into functional web pages.
- Create responsive designs for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Work with Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or similar tools.
- Maintain consistency in typography, imagery, spacing, layouts and overall visual presentation.

SEO & Website Performance
- Implement basic on-page SEO including titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image optimization and internal linking.
- Maintain SEO-friendly website structures and content.




- Work with Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor website performance.
- Track website traffic, user behaviour, enquiries, leads and conversions.
- Identify technical and content-related SEO issues and coordinate improvements.
- Prepare basic monthly website performance reports.

Digital Marketing Support
- Work closely with the Marketing and Social Media teams for campaigns and brand launches.
- Create and update landing pages for digital advertising campaigns.
- Support Meta Ads, Google Ads and other online campaigns from the website/landing-page side.
- Develop campaign microsites, promotional pages and enquiry forms.
- Create HTML email templates and other basic digital assets when required.
- Ensure campaign landing pages are functional, fast and conversion-focused.

Website & Brand Management
- Manage websites and digital properties for Octaga and its various brands/businesses.
- Regularly update product information, images, brand content, company information and promotional content.
- Ensure website content is accurate, professional and up to date.
- Coordinate with Marketing, HR, IT and Management for website requirements.
- Maintain proper access, admin credentials and documentation for websites and digital platforms.

Who Would Be Right for This Role? We are looking for someone who is both technically capable and design-oriented.

The right candidate should

- Have strong practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
- Have hands-on experience with WordPress/CMS platforms.
- Understand website hosting, domains, SSL, backups and basic website security.
- Have a good understanding of UI/UX and responsive web design.
- Have basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Be comfortable creating and editing landing pages independently.
- Have a strong eye for design, typography,



spacing, imagery and visual presentation.
- Be able to convert a design requirement into a functional website.
- Be proactive in identifying website problems and suggesting improvements.
- Be comfortable handling multiple websites/projects simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with Marketing, IT, designers and management.
- Be mature, responsible and able to work independently.

Important – Candidate Profile This is not a call-centre, customer-support or purely graphic-design position.

We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on website development and website management experience who can independently work on both the technical and design aspects of websites.

Candidates whose experience is limited to only social media posting, graphic designing, customer support, online calling or basic data entry will not be suitable.
