Role Description This is a full-time, on-site job for an experienced Technical Sales professional in the specialty chemicals sector. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, particularly within steel and cement industries, and promoting additives and specialty chemical solutions to prospective and existing clients.

The Technical

Sales person will conduct product presentations, provide technical explanations, and support customers in selecting appropriate chemical solutions for their processes. Daily responsibilities include managing client relationships, responding to inquiries, preparing quotations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with the production and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.



The role also includes maintaining market intelligence, participating in training and knowledge-sharing activities, and meeting sales targets aligned with company objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with demonstrable experience in specialty chemicals, preferably in steel and cement additives.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build long-term client relationships and handle technical discussions effectively.
- Candidates should possess the ability to deliver Training and product demonstrations to customers and internal teams on application and benefits of chemical solutions.
- Relevant experience in industrial or B2B sales within chemicals, steel, cement, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in office and travel to customer locations as needed.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, presentations) and familiarity with sales reporting tools is an advantage.
