Employer Description Shramdaan is a social enterprise focused on reviving Bhartiya handlooms and crafts while creating sustainable livelihoods in rural Bharat. Since 2016, the organization has trained over 2,000 rural youth, women, and prison inmates in spinning, weaving, hand embroidery, and stitching, enabling dignified income opportunities.

Shramdaan produces and sells 100% handmade, ethically crafted textiles such as saris, stoles, garments, and home décor items rooted in sustainability and cultural heritage. With retail stores in Kundalpur, Bhopal, Khajuraho, Indore, Jabalpur, Sangli, and Mumbai, the enterprise connects conscious consumers with authentic artisan-made products. Role Description The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations at the Sagar location in an on-site, full-time capacity. This role includes planning and organizing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of textiles and finished goods to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.

The Warehouse

Manager will maintain inventory records, implement stock control procedures, and coordinate with production, retail, and logistics teams for smooth movement of goods.

Responsibilities also include supervising warehouse staff, enforcing safety and housekeeping standards, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring equipment is used correctly. The role requires regular reporting on inventory, identifying process improvements, and supporting the organization’s commitment to ethical, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management

1. Maintain accurate SKU-wise inventory records of raw materials, semi-finished goods,



and finished products.
2. Conduct monthly physical stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
3. Track slow-moving and dead stock and report to management.
4. Track low-stock / fast moving items and report to the production management team.

Inward & Outward Operations:
1. Supervise receipt of finished goods from production centres.
2. Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) documentation and quality checks.
3. Plan and execute timely dispatches to retail stores, re-sellers, mobile stores, medium and large consumers and online customers.
4. Coordinate with Production Manager and Sales Team for stock replenishment.

Warehouse Systems & Organization:
1. Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and categorization of all products.
2. Develop and maintain warehouse SOPs for storage, handling, and dispatch.
3. Maintain and improvise barcode system / digital inventory management (already implemented).
4. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and fire compliance standards.

Coordination:
1. Coordinate with various centres for expected inward stock.
2. Coordinate with Retail Sales Team for replenishment planning.
3. Coordinate with Accounts team for stock valuation and reporting.
4. Supervise warehouse staff and helpers.

Reporting:
1. Daily inward-outward summary report.
2. Weekly stock position report.
3. Monthly stock reconciliation & variance report.
4.



Inventory turnover analysis report.

Job Dimension

1. This position reports to the highest authority in charge of the organization.
2. Will work closely with Production Manager, Textile Designer, Retail Sales Team, Procurement Team, and Accounts Team.
3. Responsible for central warehouse operations supporting 23 weaving centres and multiple retail outlets.

Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce / Supply Chain / Operations Management preferred.

Technical Skills

1. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
2. Proficiency in MS Excel (inventory sheets, stock analysis, reports).
3. Understanding of textile products, yarn, fabrics, and packaging.

Managerial Skills

1. Strong organizational and supervision skills.
2. Ability to implement discipline and systems.
3. Attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience

1. Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing warehouse operations.
2. Experience in textile / handloom / retail distribution preferred.

₹3,00,000 – ₹3,60,000 per year
