We are looking for an XML Executive to manage content conversion, tagging, validation, and quality assurance workflows for scholarly publishing, journals, and books. You will be responsible for structuring raw author manuscripts into standardized XML formats while maintaining strict DTD/schema compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Conversion & Structuring: Convert Word, PDF, and HTML manuscripts into structured XML files following specific publishing DTDs (e.g., JATS, BITS, TEI, DocBook).

- Validation & Quality Control: Perform schema and DTD validation using tools like oXygen XML Editor, XMLSpy, or internal parsing scripts.

- Tagging & Structuring: Tag bibliographic references, math equations (MathType/MathML), tables, figures, and metadata accurately.

- Error Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and fix parsing errors, malformed markup, or broken entity references.

- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Sc, BCA, B.Tech, or equivalent in CS/IT/Publishing)

- Experience: 0 to 3 years in STM publishing or XML processing

- Technical Skills: XML, DTD, XML Schema (XSD), MathML, HTML/CSS
