Role & responsibilities :

- To ensure secure & excellent delivery of patient care.
- To ensure narcotic protocols are followed.
- To ensure that all the equipments are calibrated and are in proper working condition.
- To ensure full availability of drug material at nursing station at all time.
- To ensure that all the nursing protocols are carried out in the wards.
- To ensure complete and accurate documentation and recording.




- Responsible for the day to day operations of the departmental activities with regard to the total patient care and administration of unit.
- To ensure availability of adequate technical and nursing support to the doctors and rest of the team.
- To ensure timely training of staff / vendor staff.
- Responsible for infection control and waste management.
- To ensure adequate manning at wards/nursing stations.
- To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.
- To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
- To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area.
- To Comply with patient safety policy.
- To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system.
