A reputed restaurant in Male City, Maldives is looking for experienced and skilled Pastry Chefs to join their team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in pastry and bakery production, with a background in a reputed hotel, restaurant, bakery, or catering company.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, cakes, and bakery products.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene standards.
- Prepare cakes and desserts for restaurant service, events, and catering requirements.
- Develop and execute new pastry and dessert items when required.
- Manage daily pastry production according to business requirements.
- Maintain proper food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor ingredient usage and minimize wastage.




- Ensure proper storage and handling of pastry and bakery ingredients.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Pastry Chef.
- Experience in a reputed hotel, restaurant, bakery, or catering sector is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry, bakery, cakes, desserts, and confectionery preparation.
- Positive understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a professional kitchen team.
- Creative approach to pastry presentation and dessert preparation.
- Candidates must be willing to work in Male City, Maldives.
- Candidates with overseas hospitality experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in 5-star hotels, reputed restaurants, premium bakeries, catering companies, resorts, or international hospitality establishments are preferred.
