Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Meet clients to learn their style preferences, functional needs, and project budgets.
- Space Planning: Draft floor plans and decide how people will move through and use a room.
- Design Concepts: Create sketches, mood boards, and 3D computer models using tools like AutoCAD or SketchUp.
- Material Selection: Choose paint colors, furniture, lighting, flooring, and fabrics.
- Project Management: Create timelines, estimate project costs, and place material orders.
- Contractor Coordination: Work with electricians, plumbers, and general builders to oversee on-site installationRole & responsibilities
