Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop recent saree collections, concepts and innovative designs.

- Research fabrics, colours, prints, weaves, trends and market requirements.

- Source and evaluate fabrics, trims and other materials based on quality and costing.

- Identify, develop and coordinate with fabric suppliers, weavers and production vendors.

- Manage the complete sampling process from concept to final product.

- Check fabric/sample quality, finishing, colour, fall and overall product standards.

- Coordinate on costing, MOQ, timelines and vendor negotiations.

- Introduce new fabrics, techniques, design ideas and commercially viable products.

- Maintain vendor/supplier database and build long-term vendor relationships.

Candidate Profile

- 3-4 years of experience in Saree / Ethnic Wear / Textile / Fashion Design.

- Strong understanding of Indian fabrics, sarees, weaves and textile techniques.

- Hands-on experience in fabric sourcing, vendor coordination and sampling.

- Good understanding of product costing and production.

- Strong creative, trend-research and problem-solving skills.

- An existing vendor/weaver network will be an added advantage.

- Fashion/Textile Design qualification preferred.
