Salary & Benefits

- Basic Salary: SGD 1,400 To SGD 1,500 per month
- Overtime: Available, subject to company requirements and applicable regulation

- Permit Duration: 2 years

Job Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial automation and control systems.
- Inspect automation equipment, control panels, sensors, instruments, and related electrical systems.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in automation and control systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of automation equipment.
- Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and modification of automation systems.
- Work with PLCs, control panels, sensors, actuators, drives, and other automation components.
- Read and interpret electrical, control, instrumentation, and automation drawings.
- Perform testing and calibration of automation and control equipment as required.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential technical issues.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and other technical teams during project activities.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs.
- Follow all shipyard safety procedures, company guidelines, and work instructions.




- Perform other automation-related duties assigned by the company.

Job Requirements

- Relevant experience as an Automation Engineer is preferred.
- Experience in industrial automation, marine, shipyard, offshore, manufacturing, or engineering environments will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of automation and control systems.
- Practical experience with PLCs, sensors, actuators, control panels, drives, and related equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation system faults.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and automation control drawings.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and control systems will be an advantage.
- Experience in testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance is preferred.
- Good technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of workplace electrical and industrial safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a marine and shipyard workplace.
- Must be physically fit and willing to work according to project requirements.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
