Role Description The Video Editor role at Shunya & Co. is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur.

The Video

Editor will edit and assemble video content for digital campaigns, social media, and brand storytelling, ensuring alignment with overall strategy and creative direction. Daily responsibilities include organizing footage, trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions and effects, integrating audio, and refining pacing and visual consistency. The role also involves applying basic color correction or grading,



collaborating with designers and marketers on motion graphics elements, and preparing final exports in platform-appropriate formats.

The Video

Editor will work closely with the content and strategy teams to maintain brand standards, meet deadlines, and support ongoing experimentation with current video formats and styles.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end video projects.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to achieve consistent, on-brand visual styles.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics for digital and social media content.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Excellent visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and ability to interpret creative briefs into compelling video content.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in an on-site, collaborative environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio showcasing recent video work is required.
