Hiring: In-House Video Editor – Orgix Media

Location: In-Office Only (No Remote Work)

Orgix Media is hiring a high-level Video Editor who understands storytelling, retention psychology, and modern content editing. We are not looking for someone who only knows basic cuts and transitions. We need an editor who can convert raw footage into high-retention, engaging content that hooks the audience within the first few seconds.

Experience Required

- Minimum 1–2 years experience in a content agency or working with creators
- Must have experience editing Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, podcasts, and educational content
- Understanding of audience psychology and retention-based editing

Editing Skills Required The editor must be capable of editing multiple formats such as:

- Short Form Content (Reels / Shorts)
- Podcast Editing
- Educational Content Videos
- Transition-based Reels
- Documentary Style Videos
- Storytelling Based Content

You should clearly understand:
- Visual hooks in the first 3 seconds
- Retention editing techniques
- Fast pacing and modern social media style editing
- Current editing trends in the market

If your editing style looks outdated, this role may not be the right fit.

Software Requirements

You must be highly skilled in:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects

AI & Modern Editing Tools The editor must have a strong command of AI tools and AI-based editing workflows and should be able to integrate AI into their daily editing process to improve speed, efficiency, creativity, and content quality. You should be comfortable using AI tools for:

- AI-assisted video editing and automation
- AI-generated captions, subtitles, B-roll, and visual assets
- Finding highlights, hooks, and engaging moments from long-form content
- Re-purposing podcasts and long-form videos into Reels/Shorts
- AI-powered audio cleanup and enhancement
- Noise removal, voice cleanup, dialogue enhancement, and audio processing
- Faster editing,

Strong command of AI-based editing is required. Candidates should know how to use AI as part of a qualified editing workflow while maintaining creative control and storytelling quality.

Audio-Based Editing The editor should have a strong command of audio-based editing and understand how audio influences retention and storytelling. You should be able to:

- Edit according to dialogue, voice, beats, music, and sound cues
- Use sound effects and music strategically to increase engagement
- Create impactful audio transitions and sound-driven edits
- Clean and enhance voice recordings
- Maintain proper audio levels and clarity
- Use audio pattern changes to create retention and attention
- Understand how to sync visuals with voice, music, and sound effects

Content Understanding You must understand how social media content works:

- What makes a video engaging or viral
- How to create visual hooks every few seconds
- How to structure edits for maximum watch time and retention

Communication Skills

- Fluent English is mandatory
- Ability to understand scripts, instructions, and content strategy
- Ability to coordinate with strategists, editors, and creators

Equipment Requirement

- You must have your own laptop capable of handling heavy editing workloads

Work Setting

- This is a full-time in-office role
- You will work in a fast-paced agency environment
- Multiple clients and creators will be handled simultaneously
