About the Role

We are a rapidly growing fintech and savings platform with over a decade of consumer trust and a newly launched high-volume payments vertical.

We are looking for an energetic, creative Video Editor & Content Creator who thrives both behind and in front of the lens. In this hybrid role, you will take full ownership of visual storytelling—from camera handling and studio shoot production to post-production editing, motion design, and appearing as the confident on-camera face of the brand across Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and key campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

- Post-Production & Video Editing (Core Focus): Edit high-retention short-form videos (Reels, Shorts), explainer videos, product reviews, and promotional ads. Implement dynamic cuts, pacing, sound design, animated subtitles, and motion graphics.
- On-Camera Presentation: Serve as the relatable, charismatic on-screen host for social content, explainer guides, deal breakdowns, and trend-driven video formats.
- Shoot Execution & Camera Handling: Manage end-to-end shoot setups, including operating DSLRs/mirrorless cameras, smartphones, three-point lighting, and wireless/lavalier audio gear.
- Ideation & Storyboarding: Brainstorm viral hooks, script engaging video concepts, and translate e-commerce deals, savings hacks, and product updates into snappy visuals.
- Rapid Turnaround: Maintain an organized production workflow and asset library to deliver content rapidly around trending topics, product launches,



and seasonal sales.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with social media, design, and growth marketing teams to align visual content with organic growth and performance metrics.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 2–5 years of dedicated experience in video editing and content creation, preferably within D2C, e-commerce, digital media agencies, or consumer brands.
- On-Camera Confidence: Strong screen presence, clear articulation, high energy, and natural delivery in front of the camera.
- Technical Shoot Skills: Hands-on experience with camera operation (DSLR/mirrorless/smartphones), studio lighting setups, framing, and audio/mic equipment.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro). Familiarity with quick mobile workflows (CapCut, VN) is a plus.
- Social-First Creative Sense: Deep understanding of modern 9:16 vertical video algorithms, hook design, retention editing, sound design, and color grading.
- Mandatory Portfolio/Showreel: Applications without a portfolio/showreel link showing both editing samples and on-camera work will not be reviewed.
