Founded in 2019, the foundation operates across Uttarakhand and Delhi NCR, focusing on building self-reliant women and resilient, greener communities.

Through the Amrita Devi Women’s Skill Development Institute (ADWSDI), it provides livelihood-ready training in areas such as computer operations, digital marketing, stitching, tailoring, and other vocational skills, enabling thousands of women to become economically independent.

Care (ADEC), the organization leads afforestation and climate-positive initiatives, partnering with corporates to restore local ecology and create rural employment. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Amrita Devi Foundation.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that highlight the foundation’s programs, impact stories, and CSR initiatives. Daily tasks include organizing and trimming footage, applying transitions and effects, optimizing sound,



and ensuring brand-consistent visual storytelling across social media, websites, and campaign materials. The role also involves collaborating with program teams to understand content requirements, creating short-form and long-form videos, and adapting content for different platforms and audiences.

The Video

Editor may support motion graphics and simple visual design needs to enhance educational and promotional content.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Video Production and Video Editing for social media, web, and campaign content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone and style.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations, titles, and visual elements.
- Relevant experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting are expected.
- Good communication skills, collaboration experience with content or marketing teams, and an interest in social impact or nonprofit work are preferred.
- A diploma or degree in film, media, communication, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is an advantage.
