Job Summary

Shristi Infrastructure is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Vice President – Projects to lead and oversee its real estate and construction projects in Guwahati. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning and design through execution, completion, and handover.

The ideal candidate should possess robust leadership abilities, extensive technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and proven experience in successfully delivering large-scale real estate or construction projects within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership for the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of real estate and construction projects.
- Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, resource requirements, and execution strategies.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle, including design coordination, tendering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Ensure projects are completed within the approved cost, timeline, quality, and scope.
- Monitor project progress and present regular reports to the senior management and Board.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, government authorities, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Review architectural, structural, MEP, and infrastructure drawings to ensure efficient project execution.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage contractor and vendor performance.
- Identify project risks and implement suitable risk-mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, environmental requirements, labour laws,



and health and safety standards.
- Establish and maintain strong quality-control and safety-management systems across project sites.
- Oversee project budgeting, cost control, cash-flow planning, billing, and financial performance.
- Manage statutory approvals, permits, licences, and liaison activities with relevant authorities.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate project managers, engineers, site teams, and other project personnel.
- Promote the use of modern construction methods, technology, sustainable practices, and process improvements.
- Ensure smooth project closure, documentation, customer handover, and defect-liability management.

Required Qualification and Experience

- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognised university or institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
- 20–25 years of relevant experience in the real estate, infrastructure, or construction industry.
- Significant experience in a senior project leadership position.
- Proven record of successfully delivering large-scale residential, commercial, mixed-use, township, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, contracts, procurement, construction management, cost control, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project-management software, ERP systems, MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office will be preferred.
