Role & responsibilities

Vessel Schedule Management

Maintain and update long-term vessel sailing schedules for assigned trade lanes, ensuring port rotation, sailing direction, arrival/departure timings, and vessel assignments are accurate and current.

Schedule & Deployment Changes

Process vessel deployment changes such as vessel swaps, recent vessel introductions, and vessel withdrawals, updating voyage records and schedule documentation to reflect each change.

Capacity Planning Support

Track and update placeholder vessel assignments and blank sailings so the published schedule always reflects the latest network and deployment plan.

Timetable & Port Rotation Updates

Update port call timings and rotation patterns following schedule revisions, ensuring a clean, consistent transition from one sailing to the next.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with network planning and fleet strategy teams to align on deployment and schedule changes ahead of publication.

Stakeholder Communication

Distribute updated sailing schedules to internal teams and external partners,



keeping all stakeholders informed of upcoming changes.

Documentation & Accuracy

Maintain clear, well-organized records of schedule changes and exceptions for transparency and easy reference.

Preferred candidate profile

MS Excel Proficiency

Strong working knowledge of Excel, including handling large, structured, multi-tab data sets and formulas.

Attention to Detail

High accuracy when maintaining schedule and planning data across multiple trades and services.

Time Management

Ability to manage recurring deadlines and turn around schedule updates within agreed timelines.

Communication Skills

Clear, professional written and verbal communication for coordinating across internal teams and external partners.

Stakeholder Management

Experience working with cross-functional and external stakeholders across multiple regions or business lines.

Analytical Thinking

Ability to interpret planning data and apply logical, rule-based updates to schedules and records.
