7Autos is expanding its Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) services and is looking for a Vehicle Inspector / PDI Executive who understands cars, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in quality.
? What you’ll do
- Conduct comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspections of recent vehicles
- Inspect exterior, interior, electricals, tyres, fluids and mechanical components
- Identify manufacturing, cosmetic or functional issues
- Verify vehicle condition against inspection checklists
- Prepare detailed PDI reports with photographs
- Coordinate with dealerships/service teams for issue resolution
- Represent 7Autos professionally at the customer's/dealership's location
- Ensure the customer receives an independent and trustworthy vehicle inspection
?? Who we're looking for
- Automobile/Mechanical background preferred
- Experience in vehicle inspection, dealership, workshop or automotive service is an advantage
- Good understanding of passenger vehicles
- Strong observation and documentation skills
- Comfortable working at dealerships and customer locations
- Two-wheeler/driving licence preferred
- Freshers with strong automotive knowledge can also apply

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Vehicle Inspector role based in the Greater Delhi Area.
The Vehicle
Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicles, including exterior, interior, mechanical, and safety components, following company standards and checklists. The role involves documenting inspection findings, preparing clear reports, and communicating results and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
The Vehicle
Inspector will coordinate with service staff to support accurate maintenance decisions, ensure quality control, and help resolve customer concerns. The role also includes maintaining inspection tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to continuous improvement of inspection processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Vehicle Inspection and general Inspection skills, with the ability to follow structured procedures and standards.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance practices, basic automotive systems, and the ability to identify common issues.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills and a focus on Customer Satisfaction, including clear explanations of findings and professional customer interaction.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced on-site setting.
- Prior experience in vehicle inspection, automotive service, or related roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with using digital tools or mobile applications for recording inspection data is beneficial.
- Engineering diploma/Degree or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work around vehicles safely, and follow all safety regulations and company policies.
