We are looking for a skilled and hands-on EV Vehicle Technician responsible for inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of electric vehicles.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of EV systems, electrical and mechanical components, battery systems, motors, controllers and vehicle diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, diagnosis, servicing and repair of electric vehicles.
- Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical issues in EVs.
- Troubleshoot EV battery, motor, controller, wiring and charging-related issues.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electric vehicles.
- Inspect and troubleshoot high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Perform battery health checks and identify battery-related faults.
- Diagnose issues related to BMS (Battery Management System).
- Inspect electric motors, motor controllers, DC-DC converters and charging systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle faults.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and technical manuals.
- Perform electrical testing using multimeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Check vehicle communication systems such as CAN communication, where applicable.
- Identify root causes of recurring vehicle issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Carry out replacement and repair of defective components.
- Ensure vehicles meet required safety, performance and quality standards after repair.
- Maintain proper service records, diagnostic reports and repair documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, service and quality teams for complex technical issues.
- Follow all required EV and high-voltage safety procedures while working on vehicles.

Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on EV experience will be preferred.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in vehicle servicing, automotive diagnostics, electrical systems or EV maintenance.
- Experience working on electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers or four-wheelers will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong practical EV knowledge and relevant technical training may also be considered.
