About the Role

We're looking for experienced US Mortgage Underwriters with strong expertise in Conventional and/or Non-QM mortgage underwriting .

The role involves evaluating residential mortgage loan applications, analyzing borrower eligibility and risk, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines, and making sound underwriting decisions in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Underwrite Conventional, Non-QM, and DSCR mortgage loans.
- Analyze borrower income, assets, credit, employment, and collateral .
- Evaluate alternative documentation including Bank Statements, P&L;, 1099, ITIN, and Asset Depletion .
- Review and make decisions on loan files, including Approvals, Conditions, Suspensions, and Denials .
- Clear underwriting conditions and review resubmitted documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Non-QM, DSCR, investor, and regulatory guidelines .
- Collaborate with Loan Officers, Processors, Brokers, and internal teams .
- Maintain accurate underwriting records and support quality control and audit requirements .

Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant US Mortgage Underwriting experience .
- Hands-on experience with Conventional and/or Non-QM mortgage products .
- Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae,



Freddie Mac, Non-QM, and DSCR guidelines .
- Experience in income analysis, risk assessment, and mortgage compliance .
- Proficiency with DU/LP (Automated Underwriting Systems) .
- Experience with LOS platforms such as Encompass, CalyxPath, or similar systems .
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple loan files in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information

- UG qualification is mandatory.
- Candidates must be flexible to work in US Rotational Night Shifts .
- Relocation candidates are considered.
- Work from Office for the first 6 months , followed by Work from Home , subject to company policy.
- Joining Bonus: Up to ₹1,00,000/- for immediate joiners only, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
