Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Network Implementation and Maintenance: Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Configuration and Troubleshooting: Configure and troubleshoot network devices and protocols, including VLANs, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and VPNs, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures, such as access controls, firewall policies, and intrusion detection systems, to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and utilization, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Incident Response and Resolution: Respond to network-related incidents and service requests, diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner, and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures,



and generate reports to track performance metrics and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects, provide technical guidance and assistance to end-users, and participate in on-call rotation schedules.

Key Protocols Awareness:

TCP, UDP, DNS, Telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP, NTP, SNMP, STP, Ether channel, Port, Security, TFTP, Stacking, VSS, VTP, TACACS, Syslog, work experience on Juniper infra

Mandatory Skills Set

- Strong hands-on experience in Cisco routing, switching, Meraki wireless, and FortiGate firewalls
- Positive exposure to QoS, IPSLA, DMVPN, WAN, MPLS, SIP, PRI, IPSEC, and STP
- Cisco experience of 510 years, including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, routing, switching, DMVPN, IPSec, and SSL VPN
- Fortinet experience of 3–4 years
- Added advantage: Zscaler experience
- Added advantage: Cisco DNA / ISE experience
- Candidate should be capable of handling global operations
- Should support APAC coordination, site-down support, and emergency on-call support after office hours
- May need to travel abroad if required
