Role Description The Unit Testing Intern role at MITS Tech is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the intern will design, write, and maintain unit test cases for software components under the guidance of senior engineers. Day-to-day tasks include executing tests, documenting results, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to clarify requirements and improve code quality.

The intern will assist in reviewing existing test coverage, contributing to test plans, and applying testing best practices and standards.



This role offers exposure to real-world software development workflows, giving the intern opportunities to learn modern testing tools and techniques while contributing to production-quality code.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and analyze test results.
- Candidates should possess Software Testing and Testing fundamentals, including an understanding of testing lifecycle and methodologies.
- Candidates should possess skills in writing and maintaining Test Cases, including structuring, documenting, and updating test scenarios.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with developers, peers, and mentors.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (such as Java, Python, or C#) and familiarity with unit testing frameworks is beneficial.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to follow structured testing processes are important.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with reliability in both in-office and remote collaboration.
