Roles and responsibilities:

- Set and operate CNC Turn-Mill machines as per production requirements.

- Perform fixture, chuck, tool and component setting.

- Set tool offsets, work offsets, geometry and wear offsets.

- Load, verify and prove out CNC programs.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and GD&T.;

- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts and machining parameters.

- Carry out turning, milling, drilling, tapping, boring, grooving and related operations.

- Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary offset corrections.

- Monitor dimensional accuracy, surface finish and tool condition during production.

- Troubleshoot machining problems such as tool wear, vibration, chatter, dimensional variation and tool breakage.

- Maintain required production quantity, quality and cycle time.

- Minimize rejection, rework and machine downtime.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering teams.

- Maintain setup sheets,



inspection records and other production documents.

- Follow 5S, safety procedures and standard operating instructions.

Required Skills

- Valuable knowledge of CNC Turn-Mill machine setting.

- Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls is preferred.

- Good understanding of G & M codes and CNC programs.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts and machining parameters.

- Ability to use Vernier, Micrometre, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.

- Good understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances and Documentations

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Candidate

- ITI/Diploma Mechanical / BE-Mechanical + 36 years of experience in CNC Turn-Mill setting NPD and production.
