Key Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate daily vehicle deployment and transportation schedules.

- Coordinate with drivers, vehicle owners, transporters and customers.

- Track vehicles through GPS/TMS and monitor pickup and delivery status.

- Plan efficient routes and optimize vehicle utilization.

- Handle vehicle breakdowns, delays, accidents and emergency situations.

- Manage driver allocation, attendance, performance and documentation.

- Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, insurance, permits and statutory documents.

- Verify trip sheets, PODs, fuel records and transporter bills.

- Negotiate and coordinate with transport vendors.

- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage and transportation costs.

- Maintain daily transport records and prepare MIS reports.

- Resolve customer complaints and delivery-related issues.

- Ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations.





- Coordinate with warehouse, operations, sales and customer-service teams.

Required Skills

- 25+ years of experience in transport, fleet management or logistics.

- Good knowledge of Hyderabad routes and surrounding industrial areas.

- Experience handling drivers, vehicles and transport vendors.

- Knowledge of GPS tracking / Transport Management Systems.

- Good knowledge of Excel and MIS reporting.

- Robust communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to handle pressure and operational emergencies.

- Knowledge of transport documentation and statutory compliance.

- Experience in FTL/LTL, local transportation, last-mile delivery or fleet operations is an advantage.
