Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Trade Marketing Regional professional with strong exposure to Sales, Trade Marketing, Distribution and Channel Development within the FMCG/Dairy sector. The role will be responsible for driving regional business growth through effective trade programs, distribution expansion, market activation and sales-force productivity.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive regional Trade Marketing and Distribution initiatives across the assigned geography.
- Design, implement and monitor trade schemes, promotions and channel programs to improve dealer participation and incremental sales.
- Drive distribution expansion, market penetration and rural GTM/village expansion initiatives.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers and other channel partners.
- Plan and execute BTL activities, POSM, POP displays, merchandising and visibility initiatives to improve product presence.
- Track sales, distribution reach, range, outlet-wise performance and market productivity, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Monitor competitive pricing, schemes, promotions and market activities and provide actionable inputs.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to execute new product launches and brand initiatives.




- Support and improve sales-force productivity through training, coaching, performance tracking and incentive initiatives.
- Manage and monitor trade promotion budgets, TP/TPR spends and ROI at the regional level.
- Drive effective usage of Sales Force Automation / Distributor Management Systems and other sales technology solutions.
- Support channel loyalty and engagement initiatives and track outlet-level business trends.
- Prepare regular MIS, sales analysis, presentations and management reports for business reviews.

Key Requirements

- 4–8 years of experience in FMCG Sales and Trade Marketing.
- Experience in Dairy, Milk Products, Chilled/Fresh Products or Cold Chain businesses will be strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in Sales + Trade Marketing + Distribution.
- Valuable understanding of GT, distributor management, dealer/retailer activation and market expansion.
- Exposure to trade schemes, BTL activities, merchandising and channel promotions.
- Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; knowledge of Excel Macros will be an advantage.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Tamil-speaking candidates preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, distributors and frontline sales teams.
- Postgraduate qualification / MBA in Sales, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
