Role Description The Tour Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. This role involves advising clients on domestic and international travel options, designing and selling tour packages, and coordinating bookings for flights, accommodation, transport, and activities.

The Tour

Consultant responds to inquiries, prepares itineraries and quotations, and maintains accurate records of reservations and client preferences. Daily responsibilities include managing customer communications via phone, email, and in person, resolving travel-related issues, and collaborating with partners and suppliers to deliver smooth travel experiences.



The role also includes updating product knowledge, promoting new packages, and supporting the wider team with travel planning and documentation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Travel Consulting and Travel & Tourism skills, with the ability to plan and recommend suitable itineraries and packages.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with diverse clients and handle inquiries and issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess Guided Tours skills, including the ability to coordinate, explain, and support tour experiences for individuals and groups.
- Familiarity with domestic and international destinations, flights, hotels, and transport options; experience in a travel agency or tourism role is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and online booking platforms; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in office full time in Bhubaneswar, manage multiple client requests, and meet timelines and sales targets.
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial; fluency in English and local languages is an advantage.
