Tool Room Engineer The Quality of Each Mould Experience/: 0 to 3 yrs Salary/: Based on Company Norms Education/: Diploma/BE in Mech Location/: In And Around Chennai Your Duties/: Tooling Design, Fabrication, and CAM Execution/: Interpret engineering drawings, design and manufacture current press tools, injection/compression moulds, die/-casting dies, jigs, fixtures, and inspection gauges using CAD/CAM systems and accurate workshop equipment. Die & Mould Maintenance & Emergency Repair/: On high/-speed press lines or moulding machines, promptly detect and correct tooling faults, burrs, flashes, dimensional deviations, and component ejection failures to minimise production downtime.

Toolroom operations and precision machining/: Operate and program precision tooling equipment, such as CNC milling/turning, wire/-cut EDM, sinker EDM, surface grinders, and jig boring machines, within tight tolerances.

Maintenance & Tooling Lifespan Optimisation/: Cleaning, polishing, lubricating, demagnetising, replacing broken punches, core pins, and bushings, and monitoring total stroke counts are all part of planned preventive maintenance regimens that can extend the life of tools.
