About the Role:

We are looking for a Test Engineer with strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Playwright/Selenium, Postman API Testing, Swagger/OpenAPI, JUnit/TestNG, REST APIs, and defect management.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design, prepare, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.

Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, System, and Usability Testing.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.

Execute automated regression and functional test suites.

Perform API testing using Postman.

Test REST APIs using GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE requests.

Validate API status codes, headers, request/response payloads, and JSON data.

Use Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation, exploration, and testing.

Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.

Perform defect verification, retesting, and regression testing after fixes.

Prepare test plans, test cases, test execution reports, and test summary reports.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

Participate in requirement discussions and provide testing inputs.

Support QA, Staging, and Production release validation.

Contribute to improving testing processes, automation coverage, and QA best practices.

Required Skills





Robust knowledge of Manual Testing and software testing methodologies.

Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.

Experience with Postman and API Testing.

Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, request/response validation, and API authentication.

Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI. Knowledge of JUnit, TestNG, or similar automation frameworks. Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.

Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing.

Experience with Jira or similar defect tracking tools.

Basic understanding of Git/version control systems. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Good to Have

Experience with API Automation Testing.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Understanding of cross-browser and responsive web testing.

Basic knowledge of performance testing. Experience testing applications across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.

Hands-on experience with modern testing tools and frameworks. Immediate joiners are preferred.
