Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and coordinate with management, vendors, customers, and the CA/GST team.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily sales, purchase, receipt and payment entries.
- Maintain and reconcile customer and supplier ledgers.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents before entries.
- Track outstanding payments and receivables.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation.
- Maintain proper records of hotel, flight, transport and other travel-related bookings and expenses.
- Ensure booking vouchers, invoices, credit notes and payment proofs are properly recorded and filed.
- Coordinate with the CA/GST consultant for GST returns, TDS and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare GST/TDS-related data and reports on time.
- Follow up for missing invoices, vouchers, credit notes and payment confirmations.
- Assist management with monthly profit & loss, outstanding and expense reports.




- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
- Ensure all accounting documents are properly organized and available for audit/reference.
- Report any unusual, duplicate, missing or mismatched transactions to management immediately.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing and basic taxation.
- Strong understanding of debit/credit, ledgers and bank reconciliation.
- Valuable attention to detail.
- Ability to identify accounting discrepancies and errors.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in the travel industry will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience handling accounts for a travel agency, tour operator, DMC or service company preferred.
- Should be trustworthy, organized and comfortable handling confidential financial information.
- Should be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
