Job SummaryThe Onyx Hotel is looking for an Accountant with practical knowledge of Tally, Excel, GST and TDS. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounts, statutory records, reconciliations, payments and financial reports for the hotel.

- Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain daily accounting entries in Tally
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries
- Maintain cash book, bank book, ledgers and supporting vouchers
- Perform regular bank reconciliation
- Reconcile customer, vendor and other ledger accounts
- Verify vendor bills and supporting documents before processing payments
- Maintain records of accounts payable and receivable
- Handle GST-related accounting, reconciliation and preparation of data for GST returns
- Calculate and maintain records relating to TDS and assist with timely deposit/returns
- Reconcile GST input credit with applicable records/statements
- Maintain proper documentation for invoices, vouchers and statutory records
- Prepare monthly MIS, expense statements and account summaries for management




- Assist in monthly and year-end closing of accounts
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks and statutory consultants whenever required
- Support management with any other accounting or financial information required

Required SkillsTally: Good practical working knowledge

MS Excel: Good working knowledge, including formulas, filters, sorting and basic reporting

GST: Practical knowledge of GST accounting and reconciliation

TDS: Knowledge of calculation, deduction and compliance

Accounting: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and ledger reconciliation

- Preferred CandidateB.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years of practical accounting experience
- Hotel/hospitality accounting experience will be an added advantage
- Should be accurate, organised and comfortable handling accounts independently
- Should have good documentation and record-keeping habits

ImportantWe are looking for someone with hands-on accounting experience, not just theoretical knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally and Excel.

Salary: Based on experience and current compensation

Joining: Immediate/early joiners preferred.
