- Technical development of system- and safety solutions & requirements in cooperation with internal and external groups including sign-off
- Analysis of stakeholder requirements
- Development of system requirements
- Development of system architecture definition and appropriate element requirements
- Simulation, bench and truck testing for system, safety and functionalities using Rapid Control Prototyping to create and improve functional and non-functional requirements in cooperation with the Function & Controls Engineer
- Subject matter expert for team & customers on assigned system topics ranging from non-functional requirements (e.g. vibration) via functional requirements to end-of-line specification and mission profile
- Commissioning of systems and system calibration
- Conceptual design of necessary vehicles, system benches and tests Support of FMEA and reliability work

- Expert steering system & vehicle dynamics knowledge
