About Dreamfoot
Dreamfoot is a premier corporate video production and 3D industrial animation studio based in Vadodara, Gujarat. We specialize in producing high-impact corporate brand films, 3D technical animations, industrial process explainers, and comprehensive safety training films for leading engineering, manufacturing, and infrastructure enterprises.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Technical Content Writer who can research, understand, and explain complex industrial and engineering subject matter through clear, credible, long-form writing. This is primarily a content writing role — you'll spend most of your time producing technically grounded blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and website content that build trust and establish authority with plant heads, safety VPs, and engineering leaders. A smaller part of the role involves writing narrative AV scripts for our corporate brand films, process videos, and safety training videos.
This is not a copywriting role. We are not looking for persuasive, sales-driven, conversion-focused writing (ad copy, landing pages, CTA-heavy campaigns). We want someone who educates and informs, not someone who sells.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical & B2B Content Writing — Primary Mandate (80%)
- Technical Content Development:
Research and write in-depth, technically accurate long-form content — blog posts, engineering explainers, whitepapers, and detailed guides — that build trust and establish Dreamfoot's (and our clients') technical authority.
- Case Studies & Project Stories:
Turn completed video and animation projects into detailed, technically grounded case studies and client success stories for the website and LinkedIn.
- Client & SME Discovery:
Participate in discovery sessions with engineers, safety leads, and project directors to translate machinery, workflows, and SOPs into clear written narratives.
- Website & SEO Content:
Author SEO-aligned website copy,
service pages, and long-form articles aimed at informing prospective clients — not pushing an immediate sale.
- LinkedIn Thought Leadership:
Write long-form LinkedIn articles and posts sharing engineering insights, behind-the-scenes production knowledge, and studio milestones — educational in tone, not promotional.
- Editorial Consistency:
Maintain a clear, credible, and technically trustworthy voice across all written material.
2. Corporate & Safety Video Scriptwriting — Secondary Mandate (20%)
- AV Script Development:
Write two-column (Audio/Visual) scripts for corporate brand films, industrial process videos, and safety induction/training modules.
- Narrative Structuring:
Translate technical or safety information into spoken-word narratives with clear scene direction and pacing.
- Production Support:
Coordinate with 3D animators, editors, and voiceover artists to keep scripts aligned with the visual storytelling.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience:
1–3 years in technical writing, content writing, corporate communications, or B2B writing. Scriptwriting exposure is a plus, not a requirement.
- Core Skill:
Strong long-form writing — able to research a technical subject and turn it into a clear, well-structured blog, whitepaper, or case study.
- Writing Style:
Informative, educational, conversational — geared toward building trust over time, not toward driving immediate action or sales.
- Technical Curiosity:
Comfortable learning and simplifying industrial operations, heavy machinery, and technical systems without intimidation.
- Secondary Skill:
Basic familiarity with AV script structure (two-column Audio/Visual format) and willingness to write narration for video — this is roughly a fifth of the role, not the core of it.
- Language:
Excellent written English required; Hindi or Gujarati is a plus for client interactions.
- Work Mode:
Full time, in-office, Vadodara, Gujarat.
