About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Associate Tech Specialist – Frontend to join our engineering team working on a high-impact, production-grade Angular application.

This is not a greenfield project. You will be stepping into a large, mature, and actively maintained codebase. We need someone who thrives on navigating established architectures, optimizing performance, and scaling features without breaking existing functionality.

Key Responsibilities

- Scale & Maintain: Dive deep into a large, established Angular codebase to add new features, refactor legacy patterns, and resolve complex bugs.
- Architect & Build: Design and implement robust UI components using Angular Material and scalable SCSS stylesheets.
- State & Data Flow: Leverage advanced RxJS (Observables, HTTP interceptors, subscription management) and Reactive Forms (nested FormGroups, custom validators) for reliable data handling.
- Testing & Quality: Write comprehensive unit tests using Karma / Jasmine and maintain high code quality standards.
- Collaboration: Participate in evening customer-facing calls (7:00 PM – 10:30 PM IST),



align with product goals, and guide junior developers where necessary.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of skilled frontend development experience.
- Expert-level command of Angular 15+ (experience with Angular 17–20 is strongly preferred) and TypeScript .
- Solid mastery of RxJS in class-based components.
- Extensive experience building and customizing Angular Material components.
- Strong hands-on experience with Reactive Forms (nested groups and custom validators).
- Proven unit testing experience with Karma / Jasmine .
- Expertise in writing clean, modular, and maintainable SCSS at scale.
- Demonstrated success working within large, mature, non-greenfield Angular codebases .

Nice to Have
- Familiarity with modern Angular APIs: Standalone components , input() , inject() , OnPush change detection , and Signals .
- End-to-end testing experience using Cypress .
- Experience with S3 file uploads and image handling workflows.
- Localization / Internationalization ( i18n ) using libraries like ngx-translate.
- Application error monitoring and reporting via Sentry .
