Job Description

White Gold is looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead our multi-state gold buying and processing operations.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, secure and compliant operations across 60+ branches in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and mentor Gold Processing Managers across multiple states.

- Oversee gold collection, verification, processing, certification and sales.

- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs across all branches and operational units.

- Monitor secure movement of gold from branches to state hubs and Head Office.

- Ensure accuracy in gold weight, billing, stone removal, melting and purity certification.

- Supervise gold sales to bidders and ensure optimal returns.

- Consolidate and analyze operational data from different states.

- Prepare MIS and management reports covering volumes, discrepancies, processing time and sales performance.

- Ensure compliance with statutory,



audit and company policies.

- Strengthen security and risk-control procedures for high-value transactions.

- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.

- Support business expansion through process standardization and operational improvements.

- Coordinate with Finance, HR and Business Development teams.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in Gold, Precious Metals, Jewellery, Financial Services, NBFC, Retail or similar high-value transaction businesses will be preferred.

Qualification

Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Commerce, Operations Management or related fields.

Experience

12–15 years of total operations experience, including 5+ years in a leadership/managerial role, preferably with multi-location or multi-state operations experience.
