Summary: Lead and manage enterprise-scale Oracle and MySQL database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery for mission-critical banking applications. Act as the L3 escalation point for complex database issues, drive database optimization, automation, monitoring, backup and recovery, and support 24x7 production operations while collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and efficient database services. This role requires to work in rotational shifts, excluding Night Shift.

Education: Any Graduate

Experience : 6+ Years of experience

Knowledge:

- 6-8+ years of experience in administering and supporting enterprise-scale MySQL and Oracle databases in 24x7 mission-critical environments.
- Strong expertise in production support, performance tuning, troubleshooting, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery for complex database infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL InnoDB Cluster, Group Replication, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate technologies.




- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve critical database issues related to performance, replication, availability, and scalability.
- Extensive experience in database upgrades, patching, migrations, backup & recovery, and setting management across Production, UAT, and DR environments.
- Strong focus and hands on database security, hardening, encryption, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Experienced in driving automation initiatives using Ansible, Shell Scripting, and Python to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.
