Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented TDL Developer / Tally Customisation Professional to support the development, customisation, implementation, and maintenance of Tally-based solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client requirements and convert them into practical Tally customisation solutions.
- Work on TDL customisation and development for Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9.
- Modify and edit existing TDL files according to business and client requirements.
- Develop and customise invoices, vouchers, reports, print formats, screens, fields, menus, and dashboards.
- Modify existing Tally reports as per client requirements.
- Create TDL-based solutions for accounting, inventory, billing, taxation, and business reporting requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tally customisations and TDL implementations.
- Install, configure, test, and support Tally Prime and customised TDL solutions.
- Understand basic TDL concepts including collections, reports, forms, parts, lines, fields, functions, variables, and formulas.
- Test customised TDL solutions before deployment and identify errors or compatibility issues.
- Maintain and update existing TDL customisations according to changing client requirements.
- Coordinate with accounts and client-support teams to understand accounting and business requirements.
- Provide technical support and basic training to clients regarding customised Tally features.
- Maintain proper documentation of TDL customisations, versions, changes, and client-specific requirements.
- Assist with Tally data migration, backup/restore, configuration, and multi-user setup whenever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Applications, IT, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic hands-on experience with Tally Prime or Tally ERP 9.




- Basic understanding of TDL (Tally Definition Language) or previous exposure to TDL customisation.
- Ability to understand and edit existing TDL code.
- Basic understanding of Tally reports, vouchers, ledgers, inventory, taxation, and accounting processes.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into Tally customisation requirements.
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and logical problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and business reporting.
- Ability to install, configure, test, and troubleshoot Tally software.
- Good communication skills and willingness to interact with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as with development and accounts teams.

Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience as a Tally Executive, Tally Support Executive, TDL Developer, or Tally Customisation Executive.
- Experience in modifying existing TDL customisations.
- Experience creating customised invoices, reports, print formats, and voucher formats.
- Exposure to GST, accounting, inventory, taxation, and business processes.
- Experience working with multiple Tally companies or client projects.
- Familiarity with Tally Prime integrations, APIs, XML/JSON, or third-party software is an added advantage.
- Tally certification or TDL-related training is preferred but not mandatory.
- Robust learning attitude and willingness to develop advanced TDL skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to understand business requirements.

Job Details Department: Finance & Accounts / Client Support / TDL Developer

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh – On-site, with client-site visits

Reports To: Finance Manager / Operations Head

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 1–4 years in Tally ERP / Tally Prime

Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM IST

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Weekly Off: Sunday
