- We at VIAPROM are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer with 5 to 6 years of experience in managing end to end Tableau Development Cycle to join our team immediatly in Bengaluru. Candidates who are based out of Bengaluru will be preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tableau development, data visualization, SQL, data analysis, and data storytelling, with the ability to independently handle the end-to-end Tableau development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- 1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data analysis and reporting requirements.

- 1. Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau Desktop.

- 1. Utilize Tableau's features, including calculated fields, parameters, data blending, and advanced analytics, to create insightful and actionable visualizations.

- 1. Transform complex data sets into intuitive visualizations that effectively communicate key insights and trends.

- 1. Work closely with data engineers to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Tableau.

- 1. Optimize the performance and efficiency of Tableau dashboards and reports by implementing best practices and data optimization techniques.

- 1. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Tableau dashboards and visualizations into business applications or portals.

- 1. Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, trends, and best practices to continually enhance data visualization capabilities.

- 1. Provide support and training to end-users on Tableau functionality and usage.

Desired Candidate Skills

- 1. Proven experience as a Tableau Developer with atleast 4-5 years of hands-on experience.

- 1. In-depth knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, including data preparation, visualization design, and dashboard development.

- 1. Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, data analysis, and data storytelling.

- 1. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and database design.

- 1. Ability to gather and translate business requirements into effective Tableau visualizations.

Candidate Profile

- 1. A pure, hands-on Tableau Developer with 5-6 years of relevant Tableau development experience.

- 1. Should have independently handled Tableau projects from requirement gathering to final production deployment.

- 1. Should be capable of developing dashboards from scratch, rather than being limited to dashboard maintenance or support activities.

- 1. Should have strong hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud, and SQL.

- 1. Should possess robust knowledge of advanced Tableau functionalities and be able to select the appropriate visualization and analytical approach based on business requirements.
