About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Sustainability Consultant to lead and deliver high-impact sustainability and green building projects across Asia, Europe, and Africa .

The role requires strong expertise in green building rating systems, sustainability consulting, project management, client coordination, and certification documentation. The candidate will be responsible for independently managing project deliverables, providing technical guidance, coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage green building certification projects across LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, WELL , and equivalent rating systems.
- Own end-to-end sustainability project execution, including assessment, strategy, documentation, submission, review, and certification.
- Prepare, review, and maintain certification documentation as per applicable rating system requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, MEP consultants, PMCs, engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure sustainability compliance.
- Conduct site visits, assessments, audits, and data collection to verify project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on sustainable design, energy efficiency, water efficiency, materials, indoor environmental quality, and applicable codes.
- Manage front-end project execution and ensure timely completion of deliverables with support from junior team members.
- Review technical submissions and ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Develop and maintain databases of sustainable materials, products, technologies, and solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve project sustainability performance and recommend practical solutions.
- Lead internal and external project meetings and act as the primary sustainability point of contact.
- Build strong professional relationships with architects, PMCs, MEP consultants, cost consultants, contractors, and clients.




- Mentor junior engineers/consultants and ensure high-quality project deliverables.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, case studies, and sustainability assessments.
- Stay updated on emerging sustainability trends, policies, technologies, regulations, and rating systems.
- Support business development, technical proposals, client presentations, and advisory assignments as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field .
- Minimum 2-7 years of relevant experience in sustainability consulting or green building certification.
- Hands-on experience with LEED / IGBC / GRIHA / WELL or equivalent rating systems.
- Ability to independently manage projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with developers, architects, PMCs, MEP consultants, and contractors will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of LEED, IGBC, GRIHA, WELL , or equivalent rating systems.
- Understanding of sustainable design, energy efficiency, water efficiency, materials, and environmental performance.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, sustainability standards, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint .
- Familiarity with green building certification and documentation portals.
- Ability to interpret drawings, technical documents, calculations, and compliance documentation.
