Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and surgically manage patients with various types and stages of cancer.

- Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical treatment plans based on clinical findings, investigations, and cancer staging.

- Perform and assist in major and minor oncological surgical procedures as per specialization and hospital requirements.

- Manage pre-operative evaluation, surgical planning, and post-operative care of oncology patients.

- Coordinate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, and other specialists for multidisciplinary cancer treatment.

- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and discuss complex oncology cases.

- Monitor patients for post-operative complications and provide appropriate management.

- Conduct regular OPD consultations and follow-up of post-operative and cancer patients.

- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, surgical options, expected outcomes, risks, and recovery.

- Maintain accurate clinical records, operative notes, treatment plans, and discharge documentation.





- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, patient-safety standards, infection-control practices, and applicable clinical guidelines.

- Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, and academic activities where required.

- Good knowledge of current surgical oncology protocols and multidisciplinary cancer care.

- Solid communication and patient-counseling skills.

- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary medical team.

Eligibility

- MS/DNB General Surgery with MCh/DNB Surgical Oncology.

- Valid medical registration.

- Previous experience in a reputed cancer hospital or multispecialty hospital will be preferred.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
