Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Surveyor role based in Namchi, with a focus on transmission line projects in hilly terrain. The Surveyor will conduct detailed route surveys, topographical mapping, and profiling for transmission lines to support design and construction teams.

Responsibilities include using survey instruments to collect accurate field data, marking tower locations, verifying land features, and preparing survey reports, drawings, and sketches. The role involves coordination with project engineers, site supervisors, and local stakeholders to ensure alignment between survey outputs and project requirements. The Surveyor will also help identify potential risks in hilly areas,



support right-of-way planning, and maintain proper documentation in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Strong practical experience in transmission line surveying, especially in hilly and challenging terrain.
- Proficiency in using survey instruments (e.g., Total Station, GPS, auto level) and related tools for field data collection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, route plans, tower schedules, and topographical maps.
- Skills in preparing survey reports, field sketches, and basic survey documentation using MS Office and relevant software.
- Understanding of safety practices, right-of-way considerations, and basic regulatory requirements for power transmission projects.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills to work effectively with project teams, contractors, and local stakeholders.
- Prior experience in EPC or power transmission projects is highly desirable.
- Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field; relevant certifications in surveying are an advantage.
