About The Role The Supply Chain Planner role at P&G; is a vital position responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s inventory and production planning processes within the Hyderabad Office APAC PSC GDOP. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end supply planning cycle, ensuring the seamless coordination of requirements, production, and material procurement to meet customer demands and organizational objectives.
This role involves developing inventory targets, monitoring key performance indicators such as fill rate and inventory costs, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, operations, and sales. The position offers an exciting prospect to contribute to strategic initiatives like new product launches and capacity expansions while driving continuous improvement projects that enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
Qualifications We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in supply chain management, complemented by relevant experience and technical skills. The ideal applicant should possess a comprehensive understanding of inventory norms,
demand planning, and initiative management.
Prior experience working with SAP APO, ECC modules (such as MM, PP, or SD), and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential. Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral, are critical for engaging with diverse stakeholders across various organizational levels. The candidate must demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Experience working within a matrix organization and managing multiple stakeholder relationships is highly valued.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with digital tools such as Power BI, KNIME, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Previous experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Execute the comprehensive supply planning process, including inventory requirements, production scheduling, and material procurement to ensure optimal supply chain performance.
- Develop and maintain finished goods inventory targets by SKU, aligning with service level objectives, forecast accuracy, and replenishment lead times.
- Monitor and deliver key performance indicators such as customer fill rate, inventory levels, and cost targets to ensure operational excellence.
- Act as a key interface between stock replenishment teams, manufacturing operations, and logistics to facilitate smooth coordination and information flow.
- Identify potential supply chain risks, such as manufacturing delays, material shortages, or demand surges, and implement proactive measures to mitigate impact.
- Manage and support projects impacting the supply chain, including new product launches, capacity expansion initiatives, and process improvements.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain agility and efficiency.
