The Strategic Account Partner will be responsible for managing and growing strategic customer accounts for the business. The role involves developing strong customer relationships, driving revenue growth, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver reliable connectivity and related telecom/ICT solutions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Key Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of strategic and high-value ISP/enterprise customers.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Understand customer business requirements and provide appropriate connectivity and ICT solutions.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, account reviews and service-performance discussions.
- Maintain an updated account plan for all key customers.
2. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales/revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities for new Internet, leased line, broadband, SD-WAN, cloud, data centre, Wi-Fi and other ICT services.
- Generate new business from existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling.
- Identify and develop new strategic accounts within the assigned territory/segment.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and presentations in coordination with internal teams.
- Negotiate commercials and close deals while maintaining company profitability.
3. Customer Retention & Relationship Management
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address potential churn risks.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues by coordinating with NOC, Technical Support, Service Delivery, Billing and other relevant teams.
- Follow up on service complaints, escalations and SLA-related concerns.
- Conduct periodic customer satisfaction reviews.
- Develop retention strategies for high-value and strategic accounts.
4. Service Delivery & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams for new connections, upgrades,
relocations and service modifications.
- Track order execution and ensure services are delivered within agreed timelines.
- Follow up on installation, activation and commissioning activities.
- Ensure customers receive proper communication regarding service provisioning and upgrades.
- Coordinate with technical teams during outages and major service incidents where required.
5. Account Receivables & Commercial Management
- Monitor customer billing and outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounts teams for collection of overdue amounts.
- Follow up with customers regarding invoices, disputes, credit notes and payment commitments.
- Maintain healthy account receivables and support achievement of collection targets.
- Ensure commercial commitments are aligned with approved company policies.
6. Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Monitor ISP, telecom and enterprise connectivity market trends.
- Track competitor pricing, products, service offerings and customer propositions.
- Identify emerging customer requirements and new business opportunities.
- Provide regular market intelligence and competitor feedback to management.
7. Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate customer information and chance details in CRM.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and account-management reports.
- Maintain sales pipeline, forecast revenue and track opportunity conversion.
- Provide management with updates on major opportunities, risks, customer escalations and competitor activity.
- Ensure timely submission of MIS and other business reports.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field.
- MBA / PG qualification in Sales or Marketing will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in ISP, Telecom, Internet, Networking, ICT or Enterprise Solutions sales.
Experience
- Typically, 3–8 years of experience in B2B/Enterprise Sales or Key Account Management.
- Experience in ISP/telecom services such as leased lines, broadband, MPLS, SD-WAN, cloud, data centre or managed network services will be preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
